2013 CX-9 Overview

The Mazda CX-9 is a stylish alternative for those that need the versatility of a mini-van but desire the looks of a modern SUV without rugged off-road capabilities. With seating for seven and an attractive design the CX-9 certainly fits the bill. The CX-9 is available in either front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive in one of three models: Sport, Touring, and Grand Touring. Power comes from a 273-horsepower 3.7-liter V6 with a six-speed automatic transmission that has manual gear selection capability. Sport and Touring models feature 18-inch alloy wheels while the Grand Touring rides on 20-inch wheels. Folding third row seats and a sliding second row creates a surprisingly roomy cargo space. Standard safety equipment includes side curtain airbags for all three rows of seats, anti-lock brakes, stability control with roll control and tire pressure monitoring. The Mazda CX-9 has been updated for 2013. Front and rear fascia's have been redesigned, including new headlamp, front grille and taillamps. USB audio input, HD radio, Bluetooth audio streaming capability are now standard on all trims. Touring and Grand Touring gain standard rear backup sensors and rearview camera. The Grand Touring also receives B-Xenon headlamps and tilt in reverse door mirrors with memory as standard equipment. For 2009, Hyundai introduces their new Genesis sedan. The Genesis is designed to offer the luxury appointments of much more expensive cars, for less. The Genesis can be had with a 290-hp 3.8-liter V6, or a 375-hp (using premium fuel) 4.6-liter V8. Both engines send power to the rear wheels through a six-speed automatic transmission that features manual sequential shift capability. Mechanical safety features include traction control, stability control, and panic brake assist. The interior features a full compliment of airbags, electronic active front headrests that provide whiplash protection, and a tire pressure monitor. Luxurious leather seats, automatic dual-zone climate control and woodgrain trim are just some of the appointments this car offers that are typically only found in vehicles costing much more. The Hyundai Genesis sedan is designed to offer the luxury appointments of much more expensive cars, for less. The Genesis can be had with a 290-hp 3.8-liter V6, or a 375-hp (using premium fuel) 4.6-liter V8.
