2013 Range Rover Sport Overview

The Land Rover Range Rover Sport is an athletic SUV designed to bring on-road performance driving to the traditional Land Rover off-road experience.The five-passenger Range Rover Sport is available in two trim levels: HSE and Supercharged. The HSE is powered by a 375-hp 5.0-liter naturally-aspirated V8 engine, while the Supercharged trim boasts a 510-hp 5.0-liter supercharged V8. Both powerplants feature direct fuel injection and are mated to a six-speed automatic transmission with CommandShift manual mode; additionally, Supercharged trims get steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters. Full-time four-wheel drive with Land Rover's acclaimed "Terrain Response" system helps tackle a wide range of off-road conditions, while Supercharged trims add Adaptive Dynamics with variable suspension dampening for sportier handling. Standard equipment on the HSE includes a power sunroof, 19-inch aluminum wheels, bi-xenon headlights, LED tail lamps, leather upholstery, passive entry/start, a hard drive-based navigation system with internal memory storage and a portable audio interface that supports USB and iPod connectivity. Supercharged trims are further outfitted with 20-inch aluminum wheels, heated front and rear seats, a heated steering wheel and satellite radio. Standard safety features include six airbags, four-wheel anti-lock brakes with brake assist, electronic stability control with traction control and roll mitigation, front and rear park assist and tire pressure monitoring. An available Vision Assist Package offers adaptive front lighting and automatic high beam assist, along with a surround camera system.For 2013, two limited edition packages will be available; a GT Limited Edition based on the HSE trim, and a Supercharged LE. There will only be 750 units of the GTLE, and 500 of the Supercharged LE produced.For 2004, just 5000 examples of this limited-edition Volkswagen R32 will be imported.The Volkswagen Golf is a stylish and practical hatchback that provides European-level compact car handling and amenities in a safe and affordable package.The Golf is available in either two-door or four-door bodystyles, and the trim levels include a GL on the two-door and GL or GLS on the four-door. Two different engines can be had, a 115-hp 2.0-liter four-cylinder gas engine, or a 100-hp 1.9-liter four-cylinder TDI diesel engine (four-door only). A five-speed manual is standard, the gas engine offers an optional four-speed automatic, and the TDI can be optioned with a five-speed automatic with Tiptronic. All models include power windows, mirrors and locks, keyless entry, 15-inch wheels, air conditioning, cruise control and an eight speaker sound system with cassette and CD players. The GLS adds a standard power sunroof, Monsoon audio system and alloy wheels. Safety features include six airbags, anti-lock brakes, front safety belts with pre-tensioners and load limiters, anti-intrusion side door beams, and a steering wheel which is deformable/collapsible upon impact.
