2013 Equus Overview

The Equus is an all new model from Hyundai, developed specifically for the upper-echelon of the automotive world.The Equus is a large luxury four door sedan offered in Signature or Ultimate trims. Its 429-hp 5.0-liter V8 sends power to the rear wheels via a SHIFTRONIC eight-speed automatic transmission. The Signature trim seats five, while the Ultimate provides luxury amenities for four. The exterior features 19-inch chrome alloy wheels, power moonroof, auto-dimming exterior rearview mirrors that automatically tilt-down in reverse, HID headlights, and more. The interior boasts power heated leather seating, massaging driver seat with memory, wood inserts, voice-activated navigation and a luxury audio system.The Equus is a carry over for 2013.The BMW 640i is all-new for 2012.For 2013, the GMC Sierra 1500 is carried over from 2012.Like all Sierras, the 2500HD is available in a wide array of bed sizes, wheelbases, drive types and cab sizes, as well as a variety of trim levels.The standard 6.0-liter Vortec V8 engine produces 360-horsepower and sends power through a six-speed automatic transmisssion. A new-for-2013 Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) version of the 6.0-liter engine will make 279-horsepower. The optional 397-hp/765 lb-ft of torque (335-hp/685 lb-ft of torque with Box Delete option) B20 biodiesel-capable Duramax 6.6-liter diesel is mated to an Allison 1000 transmission. Stability control, hill start assist and a trailer sway control system are standard. The Denali trim, available on the 4WD crew cab short-bed, features a unique grille, body color bumpers, polished forged alloy wheels and chrome accents. Available features include USB connectivity, rear back-up camera, Bluetooth connectivity, NavTraffic real-time traffic display, satellite radio, OnStar and a navigation system.The iQ is Scion's new premium micro-subcompact, packaged as a three-door, four-passenger hatchback. It features intelligent and functional design elements that follow a 'less is more' philosophy, offering innovative technologies and surprising comfort in the world's smallest four-seater.The iQ is powered by an efficient new 94-hp 1.3-liter four-cylinder engine, paired with a Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT). Every iQ is equipped with 16-inch wheels, air conditioning, a leather shift knob and steering wheel and Bluetooth wireless connectivity, as well as power windows, exterior mirrors and door locks with keyless entry. The standard Pioneer sound system features HD Radio technology, Bluetooth audio streaming, MP3 capability and a USB port, along with a regular auxiliary jack for various types of portable music devices. The rear seats are split 50/50, and can be folded down flat for increased cargo capacity. Safety features include a vehicle stability control system with integrated traction control, anti-lock brakes with brake assist and a tire pressure monitor.
