2012 Camaro 2LT RS Convertable Triple-Black
Overall, it's a wide-track, heavy car. I wonder why I waited so long to buy one. Make a decision and stick with ********* not a true sports car like the Corvette or the Mustang Cobra, ******** very fun to drive. I own a 2011 Mustang GT, 2010 Corvette and a 2009 Camry LE - The Camaro is my daily driver. It gets about the same gas mileage as the Camry on the highway, but is much more fun to drive. The Mustang is a little quicker, but lacks in style. The model I bought has a full-size spare tire. I remove it for daily driving, but replace it for long trips. The added weight uses a little more gas. Use 87 octane because that's what the computer is set for. You can use premium once in a while, but just make sure you use Tier one fuel. Also, if you change the oil on this model, use an AC Delco oil filter and six quarts of fully synthetic 5-W-30 - If you're looking for a smooth riding car, buy a Buick or Fusion. I love my Mustang GT, but there's something about the Camaro that really gets my blood flowing.
You Know You want it
I recently decided to buy a sports cars , getting away from the boring sedans. After lots of reading the , BMW 1 Series , Hyundai Genesis , Mustang and the Camaro were my final choices . the BMW just didn't give the bang for the buck once i looked past the name plate it wasn't that much fun. The Genesis was probably my favorite for a while, its a great car ,but the 2013 model changed too much making 2012 not an option. The Mustang is what started me on the this quest I drove an 05 GT for a few years and it was a blast ,but quality issues from AC to Electronics became too much an issue. I know lots will start flaming but it is what it is. Then came the Camaro and and those not so expert reviews tore it apart, so that made me want to look, yeah its 250 pounds heavier and cant beat the Stang in a drag race. So I went out and test drove the 2012 Mustang and its still fun but seeing side view mirrors from the Ford Minivan and the standard stereo along with the gauges that were so bad the early models, kind of turned me off along with it being a "chick car" with cute tail lights. And still a live rear axle with tire sizes that match the focus. They don't want you going to fast around a corner it seems. And again changing the car to look like a Cobra in 2013 to boost sales is a bad idea , as every kid will buy a V6 and slap Cobra Emblems on it and belittle the Real Ones. The Camaro for 2012 came in with a rear-view camera and so backing up is breeze, the blind spots are not that bad unless you are used to driving a bubble car. The car comes with a real modern suspension and a wheel package that lets you use it . the engines are tops even the V6 feels real strong. All that talk about interior quality ? I test drove several and everyone was great, no it didn't feel like 50k Benz or BMW. ******* clean ,tight fitting and great to look at and doesn't look like every other Chevy interior something Ford and Dodge just don't understand. The car is blast to drive!
