2011 Aston Martin DB9

The Aston Martin DB9 is a high-performance ultra-luxury coupe and Volante convertible. Often praised for its sensuous styling and precise handling, the DB9 is also known for having one of the most distinctive exhaust notes in any sports car. Exterior styling and suspension revisions are new for 2011. The Aston Martin DB9 is powered by a 6.0-liter V-12 engine that has 470 horsepower and 443 pounds-feet of torque. There are two transmission options: a standard six-speed manual gearbox and an available Touchtronic II six-speed automatic. Standard features include 19-inch alloy wheels, automatic climate control, heated leather power seats with memory, six-disc audio system with navigation and satellite radio, Bluetooth wireless connectivity, and parking sensors. A wide variety of wheel designs, paint colors, wood trims and interior trim colors can be specified. A thirteen speaker, 1000-watt Bang & Olufsen BeoSound audio system is available. The optional Sport Package includes 19-inch forged alloy wheels, revised shocks, up-rated springs, re-tuned front stabilizer bar, revised under tray and lowered ride height. Styling changes freshen the DB9's appearance, with a new front bumper, bright finish radiator grille and a re-shaped lower intake featuring bright hexagonal mesh, new headlight bezels, re-styled sills, 20-spoke diamond turned alloy wheels and clear rear light lenses. A new adaptive suspension system provides enhanced ride comfort together with sharper handling when switched to Sport mode.
