JEEP FROM HELL
I Purchased a NEW Jeep Wrangler Sahara from Telegraph Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in Taylor, Mi. on 5/5/11 At least it used to be New until they started putting USED parts on it to get it out the door ! Alternator and complete battery wire harness were taken off a dealer demo with only God knows how many miles. Dealership and Chrysler tell me they do this all the time ! It is an acceptable practice ! Of coarse this all took place after they got their money ! Fuse box needs replacing also ( guessing one on demo needed replacing also ) so I still have no air conditioning 6/1511, 6 weeks later on a NEW Jeep and no one knows when part may be in. Jeep also has vibration from 45 to 60 , fender rattle head light aim is off , tire pressure monitor light comes on for no reason and I'm sure I forgot something . And they call this the NEW Chrysler ! LIES from dealership and I'm not authorized is all I get from Chrysler !
4 Door Wrangler Sport
3,000 miles in to ownership. Fun to drive , great off road ability, smooth on the highway , and overall good handling. Weakness is in the V6 engine , constantly searches for passing gear on mountain accents. This engine does not have the torqe of the 6 -inline in my 2004 Wrangler. Seats are only OK for comfort on trips , but I have some back issues. This vehicle has some blind spots but no where near what the Toyota has I like the vehicle overall and would buy another one. This is my 7th Jeep. It just suits me I guess.

I bought the Jeep after much discussion with friends, driving demos and reading reviews. They all tried to "steer" me away from the Jeep, but I stayed my course. Capability was shared among the Toyota and the Jeep, but all of the reviews on great reliability went directly to the Toyota FJ Cruiser. In fact, Jeep Wrangler ranked among the worst vehicles tested by Consumer Reports, and had one of the worst reliability records ever. I followed my "gut" instead, and went with the Jeep...I just love the styling, and it is such an icon. Unfortunately, the emotion wears off quickly, and you realize what is left is a very loud, poor riding, terrible handling vehicle that looks cool...oh, and that can jump over big rocks if that is what juices you. I want a vehicle that can handle the snow, mud and muck and get me to off-road hiking, snowshoeing and skiing areas, but is still fun to live with. 2 neighbors within my block own the Toyota FJ, and they both love the vehicle. I dumped the Jeep after 6 months of repairs and frustration (took it in 5 times for creaks, rattles, roof leaking, transmission roughness, wind noise) and bought the FJ cruiser. I could not be happier with a daily driver, that also is a trail drivingget me where I want to go vehicle. It is quiet, composed, very reliable and is very comfortable. It goes everywhere the Jeep did, without the torture. I learned my lesson the hard way, but plan on keeping this baby for a long time.
Review of 2010 Jeep Wrangler
I LOVE my Wrangler Unlimited. What NOBODY has mentioned is the fact that Chrysler/Jeep has extended the powertrain warr. to 100,000 Miles! Awesome!
