2010 QX56 Overview

The Infiniti QX56 is a full-size SUV, designed for towing a heavy trailer, hauling lots of passengers in luxurious comfort, and tackling some serious off-road conditions.The QX56 includes 2nd-row captains chairs to provide standard 7-passenger seating, but can be equipped with a rear bench seat to increase capacity to 8. It comes standard with a power-folding third-row seat, Bluetooth, navigation, and a power liftgate. To allow for safer and easier driving, HID headlights, rear parking sensors, and a rearview camera are standard. Available in rear- or four-wheel drive it is powered by a 320-hp 5.6-liter V8 engine mated to a five-speed automatic transmission. Safety features include active front head restraints, an electronic stability system, side curtain and front side-impact airbags, and ABS with brake assist.The 2010 Infiniti QX56 is carried over from 2009.For 2012, a rear-view camera and an iPod and USB adapter have been added to standard equipment.The 9-4X seats five passengers, is available in front wheel- or all-wheel-drive (XWD), and is powered by a choice of two different V6 engines. A 265-hp 3.0-liter with direct injection and variable valve timing, and a 300-hp 2.8-liter twin-scroll turbocharged all-aluminum engine that is exclusive to the Aero model. A six-speed automatic transmission with manual gear selection is the sole choice, the Aero adds steering wheel mounted shift control. Safety features include six airbags, active front head restraints, electronic child safety locks on the rear doors, electronic traction and stability control, tire pressure monitoring and an anti-theft alarm system with engine immobilizer.
