2010 SVT RAPTOR, 6.2L

AFTER OWNING IT FOR A YEAR NOW, I CAN SAY THIS IS THE MOST FUN TO DRIVE PICKUP I HAVE EVER OWNED. WAITING FOR THE 6.2L ENGINE WAS DEFIANTLY WORTH IT! IT HAS THE POWER TO GET ANYTHING YOU MIGHT NEED DONE AND THEN SOME. THE FIT AND FINISH IS THE BEST IN THE BUSINESS. THE TRUCK MAKES YOU FEEL LIKE A BETTER DRIVER. ELECTRONICS ARE STATE OF THE ART, AS ARE THE MANY INCLUDED OPTIONS. BOTTOM LINE, "I LOVE IT!!!"
2010 Ford F-150 Lariat Supercrew 4 x 4

Had my Lariat F-150 4 x 4 for a week now and can't beleive how much better this truck is than my 06. The stereo, interior trim and ride rival Lincoln Town cars I've owned. The Sync voice activation system is unreal and makes using the phone and ipod effrotless. I have owned many home stereo and theater systems and the Sony system in this trucks beats them all. I had looked at the Chevy, GMC and Dodge trucks and I'll tell you the appearance doesn't comapre with the inside and outside of the Ford F-150. Ford has really done their homework improving this truck over the 2006 Lariat I had even though I liked the 2006. I avergaged 19.2 mpg on the 2006 and I suspect I'll come close to that on the 2010 once I get it broke in and switch over to Mobil 1 Synthetic. I'm averaging 17.2 mpg on the 2010 in the first week and still haven't had it on the interstate much. For 30+ years i wouldn't drive anything but a GM but I switched over to Ford in 1995 with our First Town Car and am sold on them for good.
2010 Ford F150 Platinum

Previous truck was an 07 FX4. As you would expect, the Platinum ride is much more comfortable. Love the Sony sound system. Good power without sacrificing MPG. Tried a Chevy, just didn't compare to the F150. Dodge was a not a factor-too ugly and built like a POS.
America's REAL Best Truck

great power. great quality. great truck. dodge is plastic. toyota is rust bucket. nissan is rust bucket also. toyota has sticky gas pedal. chevy is ugly and has bad powertrain and crappy transmission. go FORD!!! by the way, it's got a 5.4L Triton. get 19.5mpg on highway and a poor 12.5 city. BUT I LOVE THIS TRUCK!!!!
Review of 2010 Ford F-150

We purchased our new 2010 4x4 Lariat after narrowing the choice down between a Silverado LTZ and this truck. We decided to go with the F-150 and let me tell you VERY DISAPPOINTED. While the looks are great, the truck has a rough jarring ride and is WAY underpowered, even with the 5.4 and 6-speed auto. We took the truck on a road trip and kept hearing a grinding noise underneath the vehicle during acceleration. Dealer says it's the 4wd system and nothing to worry about. Wow, a $40,000 plus truck and this loud noise, that's very embarrassing, is NORMAL? The Silverado drives and rides much better and its powertrain was a lot smoother and responsive. The main reason we went with the F-150 was the incentives, great deal, and its reputation of the safest truck on the road. The F-150 is ok, but will definitely NOT be going back to the Ford dealer.
Much improved but rough ride

My 2010 F150 Super Cab, XLT is my third F150. Been driving them for 10 years. So far I truly like the new one with the new 6 spd tranny and the 4.6 V8. I have just 1200 miles so far and averaging 20.5 mpg. On my 2002 F150 with same engine I consistantly averaged 19.0 mpg, driving the same way to and from work mostly. So the extra gas milage is evident so far. I like the power up/down windows on the back seat doors. Old ones only had those manual push out windows that never got used. This way I can lower back seat windows whenever I want. Also more leg room in this cab. The interior features look great and more storage compartments. Everything about the new truck is better, except one thing.... The ride is rough when you go over rough road. It seems to bounce and sway a little too much after going over a bump. Not exceptionally bad, but I can notice it. I took it back to dealer and they said it rides normally. Is it just me? Dont know, but I suggest when you test drive before buying, take it on a rough road, not just where the salesman directs you too... They will keep you on the smoothest roads. Overall I am still very happy with my new F150. Got a good deal on it and love the looks.
