Review of 2009 Infiniti QX56
They should make the front cup holders like TOYOTA and have an opening between for mugs with handles. The buttons that save settings (#1 & #2) should be lit so one can see when it is dark.
Love our QX56, Big Comfort, Crisp Handling and Technology Enhanced, Perfect
Did the whole Family Christmas adventure and it is perfect for a dinner date or bringing the gang out for a tree hunting expidition. We chose the 8 passenger as we always seem to have more people than seats. 6 Teens/Adults easily fit with enough space in the back for the weekend luggage. Went on vacation shortly after to Florida for the week and rented the New Suburban XL. Our first stop was Costco to load up for the week, just like at home. Bought the same stuff and headed out to the Suburban only to find out we had to drop the seat in order to fit the same amount of stuff that the QX gobbles up behind the seat. It was then we realized how narrow the interior of the Suburban is. The kids could not sit three across and the Packae flat rear seat was not comfortable at all. It also had a ton of blind spots due to the extra length. We did look at the Toyota, but the small size and short warranty eliminated it immedeately. I love the sound system and the front seats with there adjustable armrest. The Nav unit and Juke Box are superb. The voice acitvation is intuitive. My only style change would be up top, no need for roof rails. How about a cargo area that pops up when you need it with a rubber mat and tie downs? Highly recommend this ride for the family on the go. P.S We tried to find a used one, they sell as quick as we saw them online. That peaked my interest.
