Great Family Vehicle
I love the Acadia. I test drove and compared features, reviews and safety ratings with the BMW, and other similar step down SUV's. I previously drove three Expeditions over a 12 yr period. I wasn't ready to give up cargo or passenger capacity but wanted better fuel economy and a smaller vehicle to maneuver around town. This one rose to the top of the list quite quickly. I did not set out to buy an Acadia but the vehicle won me over since it had everything I wanted and GMC offered some nice incentives. The Onstar and bluetooth is amazing....the ride is much more carlike and the design is stylish. Not quite as fancy as the Enclave, but I just wasn't ready to drive a Buick like my grandpa did. Would love a double cup holder on the back of the center console and wish the door and steering column plastics were upgraded a bit along with the sound of the door lock mechanism. Glove box should have a light. Wish the second row captains chairs reclined further as well. All in all, I look forward to getting in this car every day.
car is just amazing
Perfect without a fault!
I love my 2010 GMC Acadia the interior is great and we got all the options. We compared it to all of the premium BMW, Mercedes and Volvo's and without a doubt the size and options made this a much better buy. We first thought the interior would be a lot less premium when compared to all of the higher dollar imports but we think it is better then any of the others that we compared it to. The only thing that GM needs to change is the hard door plastics that they use, they are hard to rest your arm on during long trips. We compared it to our 2009 CTS and really think that they are comparable. The power is much better with the new Direct inject that is now standard and the gas mileage is now 17 city and 23 highway, (my wife does drive really soft and never guns it!) I really think they did a perfect job on this and my last GM Tahoe went seven years and 46k without anything but one set of tires and 6 oil changes.
THE BEST IN THE MARKET
I TEST DROVE THE DURANGO AND SEVERAL OTHERS AND I HAVE TO SAY, I LOVE MY ACADIA, I REMEMBER WHEN I WNAT TO MY VACATION HOUSE IN ARIZONA I THOUGHT TO MY SELF "MAYBE THEY DID MAKE A MISTAKE" BUT THERE IS NO MISTAKE THIS TRUCK IS REAL, SUPER SMOOTH AND WITH A GREAT POWER, SUPER GOOD LOOKING ...THANK YOU GMC
Traded my Denali XL for a 09 Acadia SLT. Drives like a dream-handling, braking, smoothness(6spd trans). Interior layout is excellent-seats 8, easy egress to all seats, controls are intuitive. Almost as much interior room as my Yukon in a smaller package with better design
