2009 Corvette Convertible 3LT
Renta650h Mar 18, 2009
I special ordered my 2009 Corvette with all the best options you can get on the 3LT package. I chose the two-tone interior with the C6 logo embroidery. The navigation system and touch screen am/fm stereo/CD player with the BOSE speakers. For the power train I added the NPP dual mode exhaust system which takes the LS3 engine up tp 436 horsepower. I mated it to the MN6 manual transmission with lower gear ratios when you include the Z51 performance package. It is the Z51 option that brings any coupe or convertible Corvette up to the level of a Supercar. I would put this car against any car priced under $100,000.00 for the handling and power on a road course and few would even have the nerve to go against this 2009 Corvette.
GM has got it together with the Vette

A car with 400+ HP and almost 30 mpg on highway. That is just the start. The looks, the ride, the response is even better. American cars have come a long way and the Vette is proof.

I also did the "Museum Delivery" where ******** up the car at the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, KY. In addition, I did the "Buyer's Tour" where I witnessed the assembly process of my car...also in Bowling Green at the GM assembly plant. The car is my first Corvette and it's everything I hoped it would be and MORE! Not many other cars can touch the Corvette's performance capabilities; especially for its low price. My biggest surprise is the gas mileage...28.7 on two seperate 1500 mile trips. I get 22-23 in everyday driving around the rural roads of western NC. I have the convertible with Z-51 option amd 6 speed manual transmission. It's "Jetsream Blue Metallic Tintcoat" in color - astonishing hues in any light. I've got nearly 10,000 miles already and the only expense for in-shop work has been one oil change. I love this car!
Space Age -- Out of this World!

I just bought one of the first 2009 Corvettes. A Victory Red, Space Age Corvette. I took delivery at the National Corvette Museum which was a fabuious experience. Ive owned 10 Corvettes and this is by far the best!! I love the styling, the keyless entry with the no key engine start, Heads Up Speedometer, the Blue Tooth for hands free phone use and even a lap top computer, the paddle shifter, the good looking interiour and the comfort of it. I ordered every available option and I glad I did. I just love driving this 436 horse powered Vette, it is so smooth and fast. This is a real Space Age Car! For the price of a Corvette you get so much more than your money's worth. Buy ONE!!! RH
