I don't know anything about this car really, but I did just test drive one and I'm going to buy it tomorrow!! I liked it a ********* sporty yet classy...It corners like it's on rails, whatever that means.
Takes corners like its on Rails

Its a great car if you like to drive. Smooth riding, very capable car on the highway. I bought mine about 2 months ago. Its very roomy, although the reviews say that the back seat is small. I have sat back there and its more then anough room. I am 6 feet tall. Gas mileage is around 23-25 mpg in mixed city and highway driving. I have the Mazda 6i (4 cylinder). Pickup is good, but highway driving is where this car really excels. It is marketed as a sports sedan and that is what you have here. On curvy roads, this car takes corners like its on rails. All around seating is very comfortable. The trunk is the largest in this segment. The front seats are bulstered to support you in agressive driving. The radio is top notch, good sound, good bass. The looks of the car are eye catching. Steering is right on center. In highway driving, you need to be aware of your speed. The car drives so smooth that even with the 4 cylinder, cruising at 80+ feels like your driving at 60. All in all, great car, sporty looking, get it, you will not think twice once you are behind the wheel!!!
GREAT car for the money!

Bought my '08 six weeks ago and LOVE it. Have 2200 miles on it so far, and it already gets 22 mpg city and 27+ hwy. Went with the 4 cyl automatic, and it runs great. Not a hot rod off the line, but certainly adequate. And once rolling, it's VERY peppy. Especially on the highway. If you use the manual mode, it's quite fast. Mazda did a great job with the transmission; smooth shifting and well mated to the engine power bands. The car handles like a dream (typical Mazda; I've owned SEVEN so far). Nice ride, and you'll go looking for twisty roads! Good climate control, and excellent stereo. Very comfortable seats and driving position, and the body looks great. Stands out from the crowd of "generic" sedans, and the sea of Toyotas, Nissans, and Hondas. If you need to be practical with your car choice, but enjoy standing out from the crowd, this is certainly a great choice! Mazda has always given a lot of car for the money, and you won't be disapointed with this one.
