Review of 2008 Lexus IS-F
acuraracer007 May 05, 2010
my 2008 lexus ISF with navigation and Mark lenvinson package is the best balance of luxury and sport in any car I have ever owned. I have had an 05 BMW 32xi, an 08 Corvette Coupe, and 07 Porsche Boxster S. Unbelievable acceleration, handling, and luxury features in one cool looking vehicle.

Hold on and pull the trigger, power - control and under the radar. Not over stated except for the exhaust. Ride is stiff, but you need to feel the road to take advantage of the high performance this car gives you.
Love my Lexus

What an amazing car! I've owned mine since February of 2008 and it continues to wow me daily. Not only is there a great deal of torque at the low end, but the handling at all speeds is exceptional. The ride is a great deal stiffer than the IS350 (my previous car) and so if you're looking for the ultra-smooth, quiet and cushy feel that a traditional Lexus has, this may not be the car for you. The IS F is a real quick car when you want to drive it hard, but also very docile and comfortable when you're stuck in traffic or where you just can't punch it. The second air intake opens up at around 3800 RPM and the sound of the engine goes from nice to ferocious immediately! In fact, the sound of the engine when it's been pushed hard is so cool that I turn off the stereo and listen to the engine's "music" instead! Wheels by BBS are truly gorgeous, as is the body styling and the quad pipes, in my opinion, though I've heard many say they don't like them. Exhaust is tuned almost perfectly by the factory and I don't personally see any need to modify the pipes or much of anything else. Rumor has it that TRD is working on a supercharger unit for this car soon and, if that's true, this thing should become an Enzo-like supercar for a fraction of the price! Bottom line: if true driving excitement and impeccable Lexus quality are important to you, this is your car. I really just can't find much about this car I don't like--it's that good.
