2008 Acura RDX Overview

The RDX is Acura's turbocharged crossover, combining car-like performance and handling characteristics with the versatility of a compact sport utility vehicle.

The RDX boasts a 240 hp 2.3-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine, a five-speed automatic transmission with SportShift manual mode and paddle shifters, and Acura's exclusive Super Handling All-Wheel Drive (SH-AWD) system. Premium standard equipment includes a power moonroof, 18-inch alloy wheels, leather upholstery, heated front seats, satellite radio and automatic climate control. Key safety technologies for the RDX include anti-lock disc brakes with brake assist, SH-AWD, Vehicle Stability Assist (VSA) with traction control, Xenon High-Intensity Discharge (HID) headlights, front side-impact airbags, overhead curtain airbags and active front head restraints.

The Acura RDX carries over from its 2007 release, but has new standard features, including a 2-position memory feature for the driver's seat and exterior mirrors, as well as an auto-dimming rearview mirror and Acura HandsFreeLink (Bluetooth) capability (both previously optional).
