This car is very comfortable. our biggest complaint is wind and road noise. It is not as quiet as the Buick Lucerne or Chrysler 300. Gas mileage was an outstanding 27 highway. Handling and V8 performance was very good. We would have liked steering wheel controls for climate and radio and a better sounding stereo system and sat radio I also feel Fomoco should up the power train warranty to 100,000 miles to match the competition. Trunk space is wonderful, I believe it is by far the largest in its class. We had a 93 Crown Vic that went 250,000 miles and a 96 Grand Marquis that also went 250k the Crown Vic was the quietest. All in all this is a very dependable, comfortable and practicle rear drive car and the abs and traction control works well in snow or wet conditions.

WE RECENTLY DROVE 4200 MILES ON VACATION THROUGHOUT THE WESTERN USA IN MOUTAINS HILLS SMALL CITIES AND YOU NAME IT. I WAS OVER WHELMED BY THR FUEL ECONOMY OF THIS VEHICLE. FROM 30 MPG TO 26 MPG A TANK DEPENDING ON THE MOUNTAINS. OVERALL IN 4200 MILES OF DRIVING WE GOT 27.8 MPG AND THAT IS ALMOST COMPACT IMPORT TYPE FUEL ECONOMY. COMFORTABLE. QUIET, SPIRITED ACCELERATION IS THE BEST WAY TO SUM UP THIS VEHICLE. FOLKS, THIS VEHICLE IS SO UNDER RATED AND UNKNOWN. IF YOU HAVE A FAMILY, DONT GET SUCKERED INTO A SUV, BUY THIS VEHICLE IT IS AMAZING IN EVERY ASPECT I KNOW OF. I CANT SAY ENOUGH ABOUT THIS PRODUCT AND I SUSPECT BASED ON CONVERSATIONS I HAVE HAD WITH OTHER OWNERS PLUS THE FACT THIS IS THE CAR MOST POLICE DEPARTMENTS AND TAXI'S USE IT WILL BE RELIABLE OVER THE YEARS. GREAT JOB FORD MOTOR COMPANY, ADVERTISE THIS VEHICLE, PEOPLE NEED TO KNOW HOW GREAT IT TRUELY IS.

Review of 2007 Mercury Grand Marquis
I ain't your average granny!!! On a camping trip with some of my grandchildren to the mountains I was amazed by the way this car handled. We were able to come down the mountain at the speed limit, and the children and I were yelling wee down the hill!! Most of the time I would have been creeping along and causing a multi car backup behind me. Not with this car! The only thing wrong with it was my own fault. I have some disabilities, and got the car with cloth seats....Hard for me to slide into. I am only 5'2" and the pedal and steering wheel are very easy for me to reach. I have taken4 friends to lunch several times, and mine is the car they want to go in. They are amazed at the roominess of the back seat. YEP, I'd buy it again!!
2007 Mercury Grand Marquis GS (Turnpike Cruiser)
Have owned the Merc 6 mos now & great value for the $$$. I purchased new @ a time when rebate from Ford was $5500. Sticker was just shy of $26K & I paid $17K (no trade in!!). I asked myself "where else can you get this much car for that type of money??" It rides & handles well on the highway (just over 12K miles now) & while it has a V8, I'm consistenly in the low 20s on MPG combination city/suburbs driving; 25/26 MPG on highway with regular gas. Pick-up is very good, too - no slouch. It's very roomy & easy to service. While styling is "old school" I prefer to think of it as classic. When I see other more stylish cars & know what they sell for, it makes me feel even better that I bought the Grand Marquis - a lot of car for the $$$. Check out the reliability ratings over the years - solid in every respect. Bob
