2007 V8 Vantage Owner Reviews (3)
The Quintessential Sports Car
I love my Vantage, it's the funnest sports car I have owned! To give comparison, the previous cars I've owned include a BMW E46 M3 and a Mercedes C63 AMG. The handling is awesome, rivaling even the E46 M3 or Lotus Elise. The car has almost no body roll, and the steering is firm, but not overly heavy. The craftsmanship on the car is outstanding, even if the GPS leaves a lot to be desired, but then again ********** uses GPS in a car anymore when your cellphone can do a better job. Every surface in the car is covered in fine hand stitched leather, suede or aluminum. Even the inside of the doorjambs and the inside of the cup holders are covered in leather. While its not the most powerful car on the road, the car is not slow by any means. I removed the fuse that keeps the exhaust bypass closed at low RPM's and the exhaust note is awesome and throaty! I would highly recommend the 6-speed manual as there is something more fun about rowing your own gears. I would also recommend the upgrade Vantage premium audio, which includes an Alpine 7 speaker system and subwoofer.

For me cars about intangibles and not just numbers. A car has to excite all the senses and the V8 Vantage knocks your socks off. The handling is a fantastic combination of good ride and great handling. The engine is not quite strong enough, but really if you want fast, get a motorcycle. If you want a great driving experience, get a V8 Vantage. The gps is aweful, so is the phone system and the sound system, but everything else is so good, I don't care.
