The limited-production M5 can out-accelerate, out-brake and out-corner some of the most expensive sports cars, with comfortable seating for five. The M5 is powered by a 500 hp 5.0-liter V-10 with variable valve timing. It is mated to a seven-speed sequential manual transmission. There is electronic dampening control to assist handling with three modes: comfort, normal and sport. It has a slew of standard features including xenon HID headlights, parking assist, navigation system, and Logic7 premium audio. Standard safety features are: stability control, anti-lock brakes, side-, side-curtain, and front-airbags. The BMW M5 is a brand new model for 2006.
