Would have installed AC. Seats on Cross country trip became uncomfortable. After market seatpad fixed. Would have liked better mounting site for GPS and Satilite...had dash brackett installed. Over all...will keep until it dies...no problems yet. A lot of off roading...what fun!!! Plan to go rock hunting and maybe some gold panning this summer for a couple of months Last year took a 6000 mile 2 month trip. Was fantastic. I plan to get another Jeep when this one retires. Count me as a loyal fan. Want to drive to Panama in 2010 if I can get it together with a couple of other peaple. Sasha

I have been driving jeeps since the 1947 farm Jeep I bought in 1953. I have used them hard and always got my money's worth out of them.

I have a 2004 now, which is my vehicle of choice. It is difficult to get into the rear seat, which is the rider's problem, not mine. I drive. The riders are typically teens, who can climb into anything, so it is of little consequence that the rear seat is somewhere in the rear.

It has a four banger which gets me on the average in the low 20 mile per gallon range, usually with about twenty plus miles of off road from each tank full.

A loaded pick up and an over beautified SUV sit in the garage, which I drive only when Attila the wife rides with me. Otherwise it is the Wrangler.

The Wrangler puts a lot of iron around me, which makes me feel safer, even though I have never wrecked a car, knock on wood.

Living in West Virginia, I live way back in the mountains, and I've had Chevys and Fords, but after buying a 2004 Wrangler I will say that I will never have anything but a Jeep.. The way that Jeep comes up this mountain the in winter is unbeliveable.
