Been a great car. Very comfortable and good with kids and adults. Long trips were a pleasure. Our first American Car and been very happy with reliability. At 85,000 miles had to replace alternator (was under warranty still) ******* could tow more.
2004 AWD Pacifica

Gave up a Town & Country minivan in '05 for my '04 sportier Pacifica. I have driven it over 60k miles. My family & I love ******** perfect for a family of four and a dog. It has a lot of leg room, even in 2nd row (my husband & I are both 6'0"). Wanted AWD which is great on snow and the beach unless too deep. Very comfortable for long trips. It rides like a car but you sit higher up. Just ******* got a little bit better gas mileage.

I bought a 2004 left over in January 2005. It has every thing in it except the sink, and vacum cleaner. I live in New England, and the Pacifica has AWD (all wheel drive), it goes through snow like it was on dry roads. It handles like a sports car, rides as good as my former Town Car, and you don't feel like your sitting on the ground (you don't need a step to get in). Cost was a bit high, but it came with a 7 year/70,000 mile warranty. If you want a good all around car then buy a Pacifica.
2004 fully loaded

I purchased a 2004 fully loaded Pacifica. I found it overpriced, underpowered with a clunky transmission, and the seats are very uncomfortable for long distance drives. The vehicle now has 94k miles and I hate it. In addition to normal maintenance it has needed a new dashboard, new heated seat, motor mounts, intake manifold, two transmission overhauls, steering rack, control arms, and the automatic rear hatch rebuilt. I've spent about 10k and it still has numerous issues. I rarely drive it I perfer my 2000 Neon with 154k miles it drives better and breaks down less often. I do like the navigation system, satellite radio/stereo system with dvd they help make up for the uncomfortable seats. Due to the all-wheel drive the car eats through tires quickly and they are expensive.

This is the first auto that I will drive until the end. Before this car I traded every year. I bought this in Oct. 03 and love it today as much as the day I test drove it. It has been on many long trips and even more short ones. The DVD keeps the kids entertained and the navigation keeps us going.
Only thing needed is more power from the start, once going the passing power is perfect.
