I have a 2003 GT. It is so much fun to drive, all my friends want to ride in it and you can see people turn their heads when I drive by. I do have to say it's a Mitsubishi. Notorious for having mechanical issues. I have had numerous issues with it, but in my opinion, it's worth it. Gas mileage is okay, I average about 20 mpg city. I've had it up to 35 on the highway. Remember they run on premium gas. The interior is perfect for me. great back support. Took a 10 hour trip and felt great. Overall, if you buy one, you'll love it.

I CURRENTLY OWN A 2003 BLACK MITSUBISHI ECLIPSE.... I PURCHASE THE VEHICLE BRAND NEW. I WAS HAPPY WITH MY PURCHASE UNTIL LAST YEAR WHEN THE PAINT ON THE VEHICLE STARTED TO FADE/PEEL OFF FROM THE HOOD, AROUND THE ROOF, AND THE TRUNK. ITS A TERRIBLE THING SIGHT I COULD BELIEVE MY EYES. ONE DAY I WAS SURFUNG THE INTERNET AND I CAME ACROSS SOME REVIEWS THAT SOME FELLOW MITSUBISHI OWNERS HAVE POSTED. APPARENTLY THEY WERE HAVING THE SAME ISSUE. I DECIDED TO CALL *************** TOLD ME TO GO TO MY NEAREST DEALERSHIP, I WAS TOLD BY A REPRESENTATIVE THAT "MITSUBISHI WAS AWARE OF THE PROBLEM. APPARENTLY THE 2001 TO 2003 BLACK AND GRAY MODELS WERE NOT SPRAYED WITH THE SECOND CLEAR COAT AND SINCE MY VEHICLE WAS SO OLD THEY COULDNT DO ANYTHING FOR ME" I SAID THANK YOU AND LEFT THE PREMISES. I WAS PLANNING TO PURCHASE A 2009 MITSUBISHI EVOLUTION BUT NOW.....WITH THIS ISSUE IM LEAVING MITSUBISHI ALONE. I ALSO DISCOURAGE ANY PURCHASING OF THIS TYPE OF VEHICLE.
