I've been driving from age 16 through 48 currently. I have experienced a wide range of vehicles over the last 38 years. The BMW X5 4.6is has been the finest vehicle I have ever driven by far. It's had a few minor non-mechanical issues such as trim pieces and weatherstripping damage. As far as mechanical and performance issues, I have experienced nothing but shear pleasure. It's also a great feeling knowing you're driving one of the safest cars on the road. Right on BMW. My car is worth every penny I spent...and it wasn't cheap!

X5 You can have mine!!

I have owned several BMWs and this is by far the absolute worst experience I have ever had. From the AC going out, computer chips malfunctioning, electrical wiring failures, ..... need I go on?! Oh, did I mention motor failures in two of the windows..

And most of the problems were before the car was a year old! Way to go Spartenburg, SC plant.
