Great Trailblazer

Jun 17, 2009

We have driven this vehicle over 90,000 miles and plan to drive it another 90,000. It is great on gas for an SUV. We get about 25 mpg on the highway (driving the spped limit.)It has been trouble-free except when a local mechanic left a few bolts loose after aligning the front end. Trailblazer is extremely comfortable on long trips. I tows a fairly heavy trailer with ease.

Simply The Best

In 2004 my daughter was born, and I had to let go of my Chevy pickup truck for something a little better suited to a family vehicle. Obviously I couldn't put a baby seat in the back seat with any ease. I test drove a Mercedes M-Class Suv and then I drove the Trailblazer LTZ. I was blown away by the Chevy's ride, handling and comfort. I have had this vehicle for over four years now and I can not think of a single bad thing to say about this truck. I have traveled all over the east coast with it and my family strapped comfortably in. The heated seats, the 2 driver presets, the lumbar supports, the 2 zone climate control with the rear seat a/c - heating, the rear seat stereo system with headphone jacks, and the rear view mirror de-icers are just some of the comforts of this vehicle that make it a pleasure to drive from the coldest northeast winter day to the balmyest southeast summer afternoon. The engine has enough power to get on the highway without worriying at all about whats flying down the lane behind you. The four wheel drive lets you drive on snow and ice without the white knuckles, and the ABS works supremely. The only modifications I have made to it is I changed the OEM stereo to an OEM Bose navigation system from a cadillac and wired in a backup camera to it. I also have replaced the battery with an Optima. It's a shame that GM will be discontinuing these this year. I would have bought another for my wife when her ford dies.

reliable, smooth ride, powerful

Bought the car used with 20000m. Best car I have ever owned. One electrical problem with the oil pressure sensing system or wiring that I have had trouble fixing. I do my own work and the inline six is really easy to work on compared to the sidewase v6 so common in todays front wheel drive cars. Changing serpentine belts etc. is really easy. Great vehicle.
