I got this car as a Highschool graduation gift in 2004, at the time it had 28,000 miles on it. I drove the heck out of it during college, trips back and forth to home and it has always came through. Roomy for moving stuff, taking people around, or just driving with another person. Long or short trips, both are a breeze with the great gas mileage. I have only had to replace the battery and windshield wipers in the last year. The battery, was the original. Its a great car, over the years, even know with 84,000 miles on it. Not even broken in yet! I highly recommend a HONDA CIVIC to anyone who is looking for a great car ( people of any age) that will last many years!
The best car I have ever owned

My 2001 Honda Civic EX has 135,000 miles on it. I had to replace an alternator on it at 110K. Stays outside all of the time...not a spot of rust on it. Never had anything else go wrong with it...absolutely nothing...replace brake pads every 40-50K..never replaced a bulb in this car! Checked the tranny fluid the other day...pink as the panther. Oh, did replace timing chain and water pump at 85K but that I consider as maintenance. I will get 200K on this car guaranteed and I get 37 miles to the gallon on the highway....this car is a lesson for the Big # US automakers.
Best car for the money.

Best car I ever had. The engine is vitually indestuctable. Mine has 149,000 miles on it and the engine still runs as strong as the day I drove from the dealership.Unwaivering reliability.

I get 32-35 mpg around town and 38-40 mpg on the highway during long trips. I am the envy of my friends.
