Review of 1999 Honda CR-V
I don't want another car except my CR-V! This bad boy has been through mud and rain from Soccer tournaments and boys piled into It. It is tough and rugged and fun to drive. My car's exterior looks great too! The gas milage is about the same as others in its class.
poor gas mileage
1999 Honda CRV 4-wheel drive very poor gas mileage 12-15MPG w/ 9-gal tank! very disapointing! I Had the dealer look ************* times and they couldn't(or wouldn't) find anything wrong. finally I traded it in on a 2002 Ford F-150 4x4 crew cab, and I got 20-25MPG (200k and 8-years later) getting about 15MPG nowadays, but still better then the Honda!
CRV-Honda most reliable
We bought a 1997 CRV and paid sticker(only car I have ever paid full price for in my life and hopefully the last one!). We named him "CHU" and he has safely gone thru all 3 of our children and at times my husband and myself driving him. He has been just the best little car to break in all my children until they were 18 and then passed it to the next sibling! We still have "Chu" but he is driven only on special occassions and his milage is still very low. We are going to sell him but encourage anyone to enjoy a CRV-Honda!
Honda CR-V It's Great!

I have a Honda CR-V and I truly enjoy it. I have had no problems with it. This is my family's only vehicle and I wouldn't trade it in at all. I do keep up the regular scheduled maintenance on it faithfully. I hope to drive it for another 8 more years. Way to go Honda CR-V!
