Following stints as a television news producer and a record company publicist, Chris Paukert has spent almost his entire career in automotive web publishing, working with some of the print world’s greatest automotive writers and editors. Mentored by Automobile Magazine founder David E. Davis Jr., Paukert succeeded him as Editor-in-Chief of Winding Road, a pioneering digital car magazine, before joining Autoblog as Executive Editor in December, 2008. He is also the creator and executive producer of The List – 1,001 Car Things To Do Before You Die, the Autoblog original internet video series turned Speed TV network show. Paukert was elected to the jury of the North American Car and Truck of the Year awards in 2010.
