0Geneva: Aston Martin Vanquish Centenary Edition sparkles in silver 1362598200
The traditional gift, if someone has the longevity to celebrate a 100th anniversary of... well, anything, really, is a 10-carat diamond. In lieu of that, we're going to recommend one of these Aston Martin Vanquish Centenary Edition machines. After all, it's nearly as sparkly as a diamond, and it's probably a fair bit cheaper than a 10-carat diamond that's ...

Geneva: Bertone Jet 2+2 is a family-style Aston Martin Rapide 1362594600
Leave it to Bertone to take a stab at improving the look of the Aston Martin Rapide. The coachbuilder may have done just that with its Jet 2+2 shooting brake unveiled here at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show. Using the sexy Aston four-door as a basis, the coachbuilder worked the Aston's rear quarters and lifted the roof into a proper hatch, resulting in a ...

Geneva: Aston Martin enhances Rapide with new S model 1362538800
We've never really thought of the Aston Martin Rapide as being an old car in need of an update, but since the gorgeous sedan has, in fact, been around since 2010, we suppose a tidy freshening is in order. Here at the Geneva Motor Show, Aston is showing off the new Rapide S, which adds minor styling tweaks and a bit more oomph to the rakish four-door ...

Report: Bertone bringing one-off Aston Martin Rapide shooting brake to Geneva 1361802780
Way back in 2004 Bertone created a one-off concept called the Bertone Jet 2, a shooting brake based on the Aston Martin Vanquish. For this year's Geneva Motor Show the Italian styling house is doing it again, but this time it has used the Rapide to create the Jet 2+2. Employing a model whose lines were more readily made for shooting brake adaptation has ...

Official: Aston Martin vanquishes Virage, unveils 2013 DB9 1348009200
As had been speculated, the brief run of the Aston Martin Virage is over with the arrival of the 2013 Aston Martin DB9, shown above. You'll recall that the Virage was introduced as a bridge between the previous DB9 and the now-defunct DBS. Coupled with the arrival of the new range-topping Vanquish, the '13 DB9 eliminates the middle man, so to speak, ...

ETC: The Windsor Castle Concours d'Elegance in pictures, courtesy of Bentley 1347753660
Bentley went to the Windsor Castle Concours of Elegance as the main sponsor and showed off six of its best among the gathering of "60 of the finest motor cars in the world," including the 4¼-liter Bentley 'Embiricos' Special built for a Greek shipping magnate and gentleman racer in the 1930s. Even better, for us at least, is that when Bentley ...

Spy Shots: Aston Martin Rapide S spotted testing 1341770520
In May 2011 our spy photographers caught this Aston Martin lapping the Nürburgring. Supposition at the time was that it is a faster, more powerful Rapide S that would offer up to 50 more horsepower under the hood and a tweaked grille and bumper so that you could pick it out of the line-up. The rumor remains the same, and the more powerful V12 engine ...

Video: Aston Martin unveils AM 310 concept at Villa d'Este 1338300000
Design language is a tricky thing. Err too much on one side and nobody will recognize your cars. Fall on the other and all your cars will look the same. Aston Martin, you might say, emerges more on the latter side than the former. Which isn't to say that we don't like how their high-end GTs look, mind you. But if any company is in need of a design ...

Spy Shots: Aston Martin DBS/DB9 successor caught at the Ring preparing for Villa d'Este debut 1337880660
As much as it pains us to say it, the current core range from Aston Martin has grown a little stale. But fret not: a new model is just around the corner. Snapped undergoing testing at the Nürburgring in this latest batch of spy shots is what looks to be a new and nearly complete V12 GT from Gaydon. Code-named AM 310, it could be a successor to ...

Geneva: 2012 Aston Martin V8 Vantage emerges with a slew of improvements 1331096460
It is hard to believe, but the gorgeous Aston Martin V8 Vantage is pushing seven years on the market. In that time, the British automaker has worked hard to keep its sporty coupe relevant and current. Along those lines, and in a move expected to be embraced by enthusiasts worldwide, the 2012 model is on the receiving end of yet another comprehensive ...

Geneva: Aston Martin V12 Zagato is the Red Baron of coupes 1331058540
Aston Martin showed off a few photos of the production version of the V12 Zagato last month, and then a video recently. If you're one of the no-more-than 150 customers who manages to take one home, then here are detailed views of what you can expect. The rear end is particularly striking, even with a wing that's the least stylized object on the entire ...

Aston Martin has never had a problem making its cars look and sound glorious. A contributing hand from Zagato has only made the pointy end of its capabilities that much sharper. The V12 Zagato, built with a slew of extra man-hours on top of a V12 Vantage, will deliver 510 horsepower of twelve-cylinder, limited-edition happiness to 150 buyers. We'll see ...

Official: Aston Martin debuts production V12 Zagato 1328800200
Aston Martin has pulled back the sheets on the first images of its production V12 Zagato. The road car is headed for an official debut at this year's Geneva Motor Show in March. Following in the tradition of the automaker's ultra exclusive One-77, the V12 Zagato will take more than 2,000 man-hours to manufacture thanks to hand-hewn body panels, including ...

Report: Aston Martin V12 Vantage Roadster coming to Geneva 1324050300
It's amazing what a company like Aston Martin can do with what essentially amounts to two product families. Discounting the Toyota-built Cygnet and the exclusive One-77, the company's entire line-up is based around either the Vantage or the DB9. While the latter has also spawned the Virage, the DBS and the Rapide, Aston has also done a lot with the ...

Frankfurt: Aston Martin unveils DBS Carbon models 1316091420
Aston Martin's presence at the Frankfurt Motor Show is rather limited, but one of the models taking center stage is a new addition to the DBS family. It's called the DBS Carbon Edition, and it's a continuation of the Carbon Black that was introduced in 2009. Now, however, you have a few more options with regards to the exterior color of your spy ...

Frankfurt: Aston Martin V12 Zagato is modern mobile art 1315963680
Aston Martin makes beautiful cars. There's no argument there as this is an automotive fact. The Milan, Italy-based Zagato design house, however, can take any car and make it mobile art. It's done just that with the Aston Martin V12 Zagato, a limited-edition show stopper that makes our hearts hurt here in Frankfurt. Why the heartache? We don't have the ...

That's where, amidst all the classics and concours, Aston is showing off its latest car, the V12 Zagato, marking the first time that the car has been shown in North America. The ...

Official: Aston Martin V12 Zagato heads from Villa d'Este to the race track 1306342860
Some concepts debut at an auto show and are never heard from again. Some make the rounds of minor local car shows. A small number make it into production. But it's full speed ahead for the Aston Martin V12 Zagato. The collaborative effort between Aston Martin and Zagato was unveiled at the prestigious Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este to commemorate the ...
