Toyota is showcasing its three-wheeled i-Road EV at the Toyota Onramp conference in San Francisco. The invite-only event at AT&T Park is geared toward innovators, investors, and enthusiasts interested in the future of mobility. In addition to a Smart Mobility Challenge with cash prizes for the winning ideas, attendees will also learn about Toyota's plans for sustainable mobility. Ballard Power Systems has signed a deal to develop a fuel cell engine for urban trams in China. The partnership with rolling stock manufacturer CRRC Qingdao Sifang Company is worth $6 million, and sees Ballard providing 10 modified versions of its FCvelocity fuel cell modules in 2016. The hydrogen-powered trams are set to be deployed in Foshan, where Ballard also recently inked a $17 million deal to provide power for fuel cell buses. Read more in the press release from Ballard.

NEW YORK (September 25, 2015) – In conjunction with Tesla Motors, Andaz Wall Street is now offering Tesla Destination Charging for Model S as an amenity for overnight guests. The Tesla High Power Wall Connectors, located adjacent to the property at the iPark 75 Wall Garage, will allow Tesla owners to charge their vehicle overnight, adding 58 miles of range per hour and replicating the convenience they are accustomed to at home.
