For nearly 80 years, Akron, OH has been the home of the All-American Soap Box Derby. Gravity-powered racers roll down the hill at Derby Downs, as kids aged 11 to 15 vie for the World Championship of soapbox racing.

While hosts Jessi and Patrick may not qualify for the main event, that won't stop them from competing in a head-to-head race to see who can be first across the finish in adult-sized soapboxes, reserved for celebrity races.

"[It's] a rush to go down this hill," says Bruce Hunsicker of the International Soapbox Derby racing commission. "It should be on everybody's bucket list."

Watch as Jessi and Patrick check "race in a soapbox derby" off their list.
