Mark Neale has made five documentaries focused on two-wheeled life at violently high speeds, four of them focused on MotoGP: Faster; Faster & Faster; The Doctor, the Tornado, and the Kentucky Kid; Charge: Zero Emissions/Maximum Speed; and Fastest. His sixth documentary, Hitting the Apex, stays in the top-tier of motorcycle racing and debuts this Friday, August 28 at MotoGP's British Grand Prix.

Co-produced and narrated by Brad Pitt, the doc follows the stories of six racers from their beginnings to the on-track battles they're currently fighting in the sport. The riders are current two-time world champion Marc Marquez, his teammate Dani Pedrosa, two-time world champion Jorge Lorenzo, seven-time world champion (plus two more in lower GP classes) Valentino Rossi, retired two-time world champion Casey Stoner, and Marco Simonelli, who died in a race accident at the Malaysian Grand Prix in Sepang in 2011.

The film opens in UK theaters on September 2, hits DVD and Blu-Ray five days later, and is supposed to make theatrical appearances in other markets after that. For now, there's the trailer above.
