Top Gear finally films season-ending episodes
Not that you need the reminder, but Clarkson was sacked following a much-publicized altercation with another BBC employee, Oisin Tymon. It's not clear how much, if any, presence or screen time Clarkson will have in these final two episodes, but we'd assume little to none.
Perhaps a more interesting question is whether or not May and Hammond will ever appear in another series of Top Gear. According to recent reports, the BBC has offered the pair an impressive sum to return, and they would line up beside one more host that would rotate from episode to episode. Candidates for that recurring role may include Philip Glenister, Guy Martin and Jodie Kidd.
Rumors have also circulated that Clarkson, May and Hammond are considering a new partnership for an automotive program that doesn't include the BBC. Put another way, we have no idea what's going to happen with the British motoring program or its beloved misfit hosts past these final two episodes, so if you're a fan, we'd suggest you enjoy what could be your last TG-style fix.
