GM has no plans to extend deadline for ignition-switch claims
Despite pressure from influential US senators who wrote a letter to General Motors CEO Mary Barra, GM has no plans to extend the deadline to file claims for compensation related to its faulty ignition switches. The deadline has already been extended previously. It's now set for Saturday, unless there's a last-minute extension.
Tesla Model X captured on video during testing
The Tesla Model X is one of the year's most highly anticipated vehicles. This new video captures it testing at an airstrip in California. It appears to be doing turning and acceleration maneuvers, from what we can tell from a distance. Notably, it's the first time the Model X has been spied in motion, and it's one of the cooler spy films we've seen in a while.
