Son Turns Mother In For Making Meth In Car
Child showed landlord “mommy’s bad stuff in her car”
A Florida mom was arrested Friday after her young son showed their landlord the makeshift meth lab in the trunk of her car.
Briana Buchanan, 27, was arrested at her Edgewood, Florida rental after her 7-year-old son showed the landlord "mommy's bad stuff in her car", WESH 2 reported.
"He opened up the car and he pointed to a bag and right away its everything you've seen online related to meth labs," the landlord told WESH 2. "So I pulled him away and I called 911."
The boy also told the landlord the process his mother used to make the potent drug.
"Mommy goes to the store and lies to the people, saying she is sick and needs medicine," he told the landlord, according to police reports.
Inside the car police found meth making materials. They found Buchanan passed out in the house in possession of syringes filled with the drug as well.
The police arrested Buchanan and charged her with child neglect with great bodily harm, possession of methamphetamine, manufacturing methamphetamine, possession of listed chemicals and possession/use of narcotic paraphernalia.
Her son is now living with his grandmother.
