At the Beijing Motor Show this weekend, Honda took the wraps off of the Concept B Hybrid, a "new-value concept" that will apparently do its level best to get the Japanese automaker back into the entry-level gas-electric game. Powertrain details for the five-door concept hatch are noticeably absent, so we are assuming that what Honda wants with this concept is for us to focus on the looks. Honda says the car's exterior design is "advanced and cool-looking." We like the shape, but think a few changes will do wonders for the production model.

If the busy front end gets turned down a bit in production (it's especially glaring from the front), we can see this becoming a darn good replacement for the Insight at the lower end of the hybrid price spectrum. Sadly, for now, Honda is saying that the mass-production model that uses the Concept B as a foundation will be available "exclusively" on the Chinese market in two years.

Speaking at the Beijing show, Honda president and CEO Takanobu Ito continued to look for ways to green his company's line-up, and said Honda, "will strive to become number one in complying with Chinese CAFE regulations, which are the toughest in the world, and offer a new lifestyle for Chinese customers." Come 2016, that new lifestyle could look like the car you see in the gallery above. Think it's a good one?

http://cloudlakes.com/gallery/2597495-nissan-terrano-ii.html So you really think this poor photohack of an old Nissan is your argument that this Concept B copied the front of that Nissan. Dude, what drugs are you on?

Call us when Nissan CONCEPTS stop copying something Honda has been building for years. Clearly this new Honda is a progression of this. http://hdwallpappers.com/images/wallpapers/Honda-FCX_Clarity_2009_Wallpaper.jpg

You know deep down you lost ,and you can try to spin it however you want, the nissan terrano/mistral shown on the cloudlakes website, was design by autech, a division of nissan, had that grill from 1993 to 1996 for two door only, the four door had a different grill. http://pt.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nissan_Mistral http://cloudlakes.com/gallery/2597495-nissan-terrano-ii.html Look at the 1991 mass produce nissan venette serena bumper. This have show you how long nissan have been using V shape signature in their bumper and grill.

Hybrid, what a weird idea, it's costly and you won't save in gas bill. Hydrogen fuelcell and natural gas for regular ice engine pollute less and cost less and the natural gas cost few and is mined domestically. Wake me up when you gonna have a bright idea and in 2025 when my actual car will be worn-out i'll buy a hydrogen fuelcell car with the hydrogen made with natural gas or by efficient water electrolysis.

hydrogen is a horrible way to transport electricity. Thats all a fuel cell is. Its an electric car refueled by a fuel that takes lots of electricity to create. Then that fuel is shipped by diesel truck so you can use it in your imaginary fuelcell car. Battery tech will eventually advance making hydrogen pointless. It may do so before hydrogen even hits the road.

"futurecar" you are truely delusional if you think this looks like a Nissan and Honda is copying Nissan. Clearly this is a progression of the FCX Clarity from the mid 00s.

If you made the details of this front end more production ready (less lexus vomit-busy) it would be a really attractive car. The overall shapes are nice. IT would make for a good looking Civic SI honestly
