Fans of Captain America can expect to see Chevrolet's seventh-generation Corvette Stingray when the superhero's latest flick, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, hits theaters on April 4. But it won't be Cap driving the Stingray on the big screen, it'll be the beautiful and deadly Black Widow, played by Scarlett Johansson.

ScarJo's Stingray has made its official debut at the 2014 Chicago Auto Show, and while the actress herself wasn't onstage when it rolled out, sadly, we were able to get a close look at her car. From what we can tell, this is nothing more than a black-on-black Stingray. That may not ring true in the film, though, so keep an eye open for Black Widow's Chevy when the new Captain America movie hits theaters.

Scroll up for our batch of live photos from Chicago.

As much as I like the Stingray in blue, if I was ordering one id have to go with the black on red/black interior with black wheels and red painted calipers. It just looks sinister in black.

It looks a whole lot better than the regular Vette because the A pillar and roof panels are all the same color as the rest of the body.

completely agree - it also plays down the piano black accent bits which stick out on lighter colors.

I don't normally like corvettes (I'm English, it's a reflex), but that's pretty freaking sexy.

They need to bring back the ad line: "Lord Vader, your car is ready"

Looks superb, that gloss black really takes on the colors of its surroundings and allows them to play across its surface. My preference would be a C7 in Night Race Blue, I think it's the Stingray's best color.

Not a fan of the company, but this car is looking way better in darker colors than on red or yellow, let see how the Chevy Express is gong to look on black or white (darker show more body lines and muscle than lighter)

I was just riding down the Southfield freeway in Detroit, and I spotted a C7 in yellow, so I sped up to it and got behind it. I must say from behind it looks like a C3 in the way, the top wraps around to the back of the rear to glass hatch. I think IMO, that the only thing that looks of place on the rear is the four round exhaust tip. If they was made somehow to match the brake lights the rear end would not be so bad.

I was stuck behind a new Vette that was stuck behind a school bus on a two-lane road. So I had a good 10 minutes to look at its back end. I told myself that I would hold off final judgement until I was able to see one in person for a good amount of time. I hate it. It is simply ugly, too busy, and awkward. I like the engineering but the design is a turn-off. Whatever class was gained by the C5 is lost on this heap of lines, vents, and edges. it just looks cheap.

2 posts. 1 from my computer, and 1 from my phone. Regardless, the Black C7 looks great. It fixes the 2 tone rear end and hides all the vents. Black the chrome strip in the grill, add Z51, MSRP, and a 7pd stick and you have the best RWD/stickshift car money can buy.
