Man Called 911 Several Times Before Being Shot By Road Rage Driver
Pursuit stretched two states before ending in tragedy.
A man killed in a road-rage incident in Pennsylvania called 911 several times before he was run off the road and shot multiple times.
Police believe the assailant pursued Timothy Davison, 28, across state lines from Maryland to Pennsylvania according to CNN. There is no indication Davison provoked the shooter. Davison called police twice, once from Maryland and once right before he was forced off Interstate 81 in Pennsylvania. He didn't provide much information to 911 operators.
Police are asking auto body shops to be on the look out for the suspect's car, a dark colored Ford Ranger XLT pickup truck with damage to the driver's side.
In a recent survey, conducted by the AAA Foundation, of 3,147 American drivers, 55.1 percent of respondents said that aggressive drivers are a "very serious" threat to their personal safety and 33 percent said they were a "somewhat serious" threat.
