Celebrity provenance can add significant value to a car, and this month's Barrett-Jackson auction in Scottsdale, AZ will feature more than a few vehicles with some added star power. Included among the celebrity-affiliated lots consigned to this year's auction are Simon Cowell's Bugatti Veyron, a Shelby-powered '56 Ford pickup signed by Gene Simmons, Kobe Bryant's '63 Chevy Impala and a Hudson Commodore used in Driving Miss Daisy.

Those nostalgic for celebrities recently departed might also be interested in the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution (shown above) used by Paul Walker in the filming of 2 Fast 2 Furious, the '86 Ferrari Testarossa roadster that starred alongside Michael Jackson in a Pepsi commercial and a '72 Oldsmobile 442 previously owned by the late James Gandolfini. There's even the Mojo speedboat Colin Farrell and Jamie Foxx used in Miami Vice, complete with matching Hummer H2 and trailer. Check them out in the gallery above and the press release and videos below.

I wonder where all of the Evo's stunt doubles (which were regular Lancers) are nowadays. F2F2 was always the worst of the franchise IMO, and the Mitsubishi stars were some of the worst star cars as well. At any rate, the silver/blue R34 is THE Walker car, the Evo will always be "Oh, THAT car."

While I agree that silver/blue R34 was amazing, they didn't give it enough screen time killing it off in the first 10 minutes. The green GSX is by far the ultimate Paul Walker car and it's not even close. As for the Evo, disagree, that's an awesome movie car, although the graphics are ugly. The purple Eclipse on the other hand, THAT was an awful movie car for a performance car movie. Oh yeah, I want a 3rd gen Eclipse, you know, the first gen where you could ONLY get FWD and a 210hp v6 with no forced induction option. That gen killed the Eclipse :(

"Dead guy cars here! Step right up and get your dead guy cars!" No offense to the deceased, but the title of the article made it seem like B-Jacks had a theme going... Like a special Dead Guy Sales Day. Reading the article, they have several celebrity cars, so it might be coincidence.

Wow, it's been a while since I watched this movie. Did they seriously dub in Subaru engine sounds for the eclipse? *facepalm* The franchise has come a long way.

Oh how I would love to have that Hudson... that movie gets a lot of flak, but I liked it.

The '72 442 is a very down to earth kind of car. That seems to fit James Galdolfini perfectly.

Sounds a bit morbid to me? But what do I know.
