Last month, Subaru unveiled the Levorg concept at the Tokyo Motor Show, previewing what could be the next Legacy wagon. But that's not the end of the story for the concept car.

With the Tokyo Auto Salon – Japan's equivalent to SEMA – approaching next month, Fuji Heavy has announced five customized versions of the Levorg. One is being prepared by Subaru itself with a focus on luxury (including new alloy wheels and a burgundy interior), one by Subaru Tecnica International (with strut brace and aero kit) and one each by aftermarket Subaru tuners Corazon, Syms and Prova.

Subaru will also display a pair of racecars based on the BRZ: the Super GT300 version we've already seen and a new STI NBR Challenge racer aimed at the Nürburgring 24 Hours. Details in the press release below.

      It would be great to see a wagon enter the US market. Nice looking and a competitor to the Audi's, etc.

      I don't see the Legacy connection here. That's a modified Impreza front end if I'm not mistaken. Which begs to ask... why couldn't Subaru use this for the '15 WRX? I don't hate the looks of the finalized '15 WRX, but this definitely looks better IMO.

        Too small. More like the size of the last generation of outback/legacy, so bigger than the new impreza, smaller than the new Outback.

          The Levorg *IS* an Impreza/WRX, its just a wagon configuration. Same wheelbase, same interior, only 100mm longer overall due to the cargo area behind the rear axle.

      I like it. Give it the WRX (or better yet STI) mechanicals with a stick and I'm set.

      Subaru should bring these to the USA as the WRX wagon. The wagon actually looks better and is more practical than the sedan. I'd be more than happy to replace my aging Mazda 6 wagon with this.

      Subaru pulled another one apparently, had a cool concept then show the real version and it's just based off the ugly Impreza! What ugly crap, and not quirky subaru looks, just plain bad!

      The incompetence of Subaru's design department never ceases to amaze me.

        Get your vision checked. This is one of the best designs to come out of Subaru in a decade.

      i wonder if subaru will ever hire someone who can design a interior

        @danman
        Highly unlikely the interiors have been roughly the same for 12 years. The door handles are the exact same and same with most of the buttons.
