Does there need to be a Need For Speed movie? Isn't the video game franchise enough? We would submit, no and yes, respectively and respectfully. Need doesn't enter in to the equation however, and it seems as though Hollywood believes that its high time The Fast and the Furious stopped hogging all those cheezy-car-movie dollars to itself.

And, to be fair, we'll probably go see this. For starters, Aaron Paul is among our favorite two-first-name actors. Second, based on this one-liner-laden trailer, we get a sense that this ode to special effects and high-dollar cars will make for a good popcorn flick at the very least. Look! It's a Mustang racing a helicopter, or something...

It'll be worth the price of admission just to see how Michael Keaton – apparently playing a jaded disc jockey that comments, on-air, about the intimate details of street racing – is worked into this opus of fromage. Delivering lines like, "I can feel love, vengeance, and motor oil all swirling together," we hope Keaton at least gets to put a grandkid through college or something. Slum along with us, below.

Fast and furious mixed wth gone in sixty seconds starring Jesse pinkman. I know its the norm to show what I'd call spoilers in trailers now a day but come on, showing how the helicopter saved the mustang..... If the majority of car chases are not filmed with the over abundance of quick cuts and super fast zooms/ pans so I can see the race and cars clearly I'll enjoy it

So much hate on this movie, just shut and enjoy another car movie. No it doesn't have a compelling story but neither does the so "famed" F&F movies, you watch it for the cars and entertainment. This is a back to basics car movie, no CGI, lots of cars, and explosions. Nothing less, nothing more.

Redneck car, Redneck racing...in a Redneck environment. Tons of yankee ignorance condensed in just one post. But don't get me wrong guyz...I just love U.S and americans, I just can't stand republicans ^_^

I'm willing to bet that most of the people involved in the making of this movie are Democrats because most of Hollywood is, so your point is moot here. Hell, the Big 3, you know the companies that design and manufacture all of those "redneck" cars you speak of, are headquartered in and around Detroit, an area that's traditionally a Democratic stronghold. Most of them are/were assembled by UAW labor. For that reason, some who identify as Republican/Conservative avoid the Big 3, and guess where they take their business. The Japanese automakers, which includes your beloved Toyota. How do you like them meatballs you ignorant Italian troll?

Most car movies are kinda like porn in that there usually isn't much of a story, and the plots are rather predictable. With that said, I always thought the first F&F movie had a decent story, even though it was basically "Point Break" with cars and street racers instead of bank robbers and surfboards.

does koenigsegg actually make REAL cars? they don't let anyone with credibility drive them, don't race them, don't post ring times BUT provide like 30 shells to nfs movie and somehow rank as the best cars ever in every video game. i call bullshit. PS....this movie looks especially hard to watch. hopefully it's bad in a somewhat funny way

The good thing about car movies is they don't require great actors, or great acting. But if you get it, you have Smokey and The Bandit! This won't be another Smokey.... BD
