WitStar ConceptJust in case you thought the Youabian Puma wasn't the craziest thing you'd see all auto show season, China's got you covered. Our friends over at Car News China found this gem, the WitStar Concept from Guangzhou Auto, sitting on the show floor at the Guangzhou Motor Show.

Compared to the Puma, this concept actually looks good, but the best part is visible once those gullwing doors are open. Yes, that is a fish tank built into the lounge-style rear seat. It doesn't get any better than that for a concept car. In terms of specs, WitStar's concept is a range-extended electric vehicle with an EV driving range of 62 miles. Acceleration from 0-31 miles per hour takes 4.5 seconds and the Witstar taps out at just 99 mph... presumably not to jostle the fish.

Finally. I can't tell you how many times I've looked at a car and thought, "This car would be perfect if it only had gull wing doors and a fish tank."

Park that car anywhere under the hot Texas sun and you'll have yourself some boiled fish.

That's a feature not a bug. You put the fish in before you leave for work in the morning and when you get home you have poached fish all ready for dinner.

This looks surprisingly well-designed and well-assembled for a Chinese concept car. Nevermind the fish tank; that's just a distraction that wouldn't survive 20 minutes on a summer day in Beijing.

The slab sides are kind of heavy looking and obviously the fishtank is ridiculous -- but overall it looks pretty good. If this were from X other brand, fanbois would be clamoring about how they have reinvented the segment.

This car manufacturer's claim of trying to be taken seriously doesn't hold water anymore. The dumb bass who thought this was a good idea was probably some low level bottom-feeder trying to make a name for himself. Anyway, this whole story is fishy to begin with.
