Something – we don't know what yet – is coming from Polestar. While we'll be recovering from next week's LA Auto Show and Tokyo Motor Show (and starting to slack off ahead of an extended Thanksgiving weekend), the official tuner of Volvo products has announced plans to unveil its latest creation in less than two weeks.

Based on this video teaser, we can only imagine (and hope) that it's the souped-up Volvo V60 recently caught testing by our spy shooters. The idea of a high-performance Volvo wagon was already enough to get us giddy last month, but the exhaust note in this video is downright captivating. Scroll down to watch the teaser for yourself, and be prepared for some bright blue wagony goodness to be revealed on November 26.

Volvo seems to stage a come back but I just don't expect it will survive the onslaught of VW, Subaru, and low budget German luxury big 3 (A3, 2 series, CLA, etc).

That is, without a doubt, a six cylinder. I'll fully repay China's debt if I'm wrong. Sounds like it has a redline around 6500 RPM.

I hope Volvo doesn't just kill off their inline 6. It has a lot of potential. The S60 polestar was the prime example. Plus the fact it was tuned by Porsche says a lot of thought and effort went into it. I hope they save the 6 for top of the line R or Polestar editions.

I'm so glad they're doing a Polestar station wagon...I really really like the new V60 and if a Polestar version comes to the US that'll be my next car. I should probably start saving up in anticipation. Volvo don't let me down!
