Tax The Rich, the YouTube channel that exists mainly to terrorize ultra-rare, ultra-expensive cars like the Jaguar XJ220, Ferrari Enzo and Rolls-Royce Phantom, has come out with its first video in two months, starring one of the rarest Ferraris of the past 40 years – the 288 GTO.

Now, by Tax The Rich standards, its treatment of the 288 is better than what the Enzo or the Rolls (especially) got in their videos. The most cringe-worthy parts are in the very beginning, before transitioning to actual roads (yes, we know the 288 was originally meant as a Group B rally car, but that makes zipping about on grass and dirt in a very rare Ferrari no less difficult to watch). After that, it's more of the stuff we wish collectors would do with their cars – drive. Seeing and hearing this 288 GTO at full clip is a thing of beauty, and something we wish were a far more regular occurrence.

Take a look below for the latest video from Tax The Rich.

Holy crap, what an epic video. The 288 GTO is without a doubt by favorite Ferrari of all time. Such a bad ass looking machine.

I like the part when he locks the brakes up, creating a nice smokescreen.... This part made me smile...

Shute, if more collectors drove their cars like that, these exotic would be even more rare, and there'd be a few less rich guys to tax. That said, that 288 GTO has to be quite possibly the most beautiful Ferrari I have ever seen. How did such a thing of beauty ever escape my memory? I shall google now.

Forgot how nice the quad light set up on that car made it look soooo soooo much better than other variants of that era/body style Ferrari's. Drive it like you stole it ... What a way to live!

The most cringe worthy part of the entire video had nothing to do with the driving. It was the Fram oil filter...

Say what you want but that guy knows how to drive a car. Those figure eights in the garage was insane and took skill and balls of steel. I LOVE the 288 GTO

Normally I have mixed feelings about the TTR videos (usually along the lines of "Glad they're really using the car but did they have to be THAT abusive??"), but this one was all enjoyment. Great car and entertaining video, not to mention a pretty skilled (and ballsy) driver.

He probably does this to cars that he is selling or trading in. One last hurrah of crazy fun.

Am I the only one that had a swelling of enjoyment during this video with a smile on my face?
