Audi has stayed quiet about its Sport Quattro Concept since the 700-horsepower, tangerine rocket debuted at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show – a followup to Quattro Concept shown at the 2010 Paris Motor Show. Now, Audi has broken the plug-in hybrid out to give thanks to its Facebook fans, which now number over 100,000 strong (103,123 as of this writing).

As impressive as that number is, it does seem a bit strange that Audi USA's Facebook page has netted 7.3 million likes, 73 times what Audi's global page has received. Of course, we're not complaining about seeing the Sport Quattro Concept in action, and neither should you. Take a look below for the entire video.

I like it, but don't like it as much as the prior concept from few years back. I hope the RS crew will tune this thing right. Also, interesting note about RS, the best RS model right now is the RS Q3, not the RS3, 4, 5, 6, 7.

This one is awful. Those 'ebay-aftermarket looking' headlights and everything. First one, the white one was miles better.

Camero look-alike body with German guts. Not doing anything for me.

Was really hoping for a lightweight turbo 2.5 5 cylinder..... with a stick. Not interested anymore.

To bad they will price it out of the range of 99% of the people that want it.

Not really sure how they can design something in this price range/performance category to look like that. It will blend in with every other AUDI on the road.

you are right - especially rear 3/4 view. Not that it's a bad thing - always thought the Corrado, especially the later vr6 models were nice. This new Audi might make a nice alternative to the new 435i or M4.
