"If at first you don't succeed, try, try again." That must be the motto of the go-kart driver shown in this video. After an attempt to pass on the outside of a dirt oval track, he has a hard introduction with the wall (in what appears to be the worst possible way), but quickly shakes it off and resumes racing.

The next time around, our determined karter takes the same line with similar results – in almost the exact same location as the first crash. Kudos to the driver of the red No. 27 kart, though, who somehow manages to avoid a major collision with the spun kart and its likely bewildered driver. Scroll down to watch the video – while it isn't high quality, it's still easy to get the point... twice.

Another example for why it's called "flyover country". So boring that grown men race in a circle on a go kart.

@BGJ -- That looks like fun. I wish there were places to do that here in NYC.

Y'all do realize that this video looks like it is probably 20+ years old based on the karts being used: No modern farings, noses, or pods, or rear bumpers Appears to be Briggs flathead engines If that is a recent kart race, (and retro kart racing is popular) that track needs to lose their insurance immediately due to lack of safety features.
