Hot on the heels of a video showing Mercedes-Benz testing its 2014 S65 AMG sedan around the Nürburgring, here's yet another glimpse of the German automaker's luxury flagship sedan, which is set to go on sale in March of 2014. Though the new S65 AMG won't be officially unveiled until this November's LA Auto Show, eagle-eyed Gnepiah caught it naked on camera during a recent commercial shoot in the Netherlands.

The video shows a few exterior modifications as compared to the outgoing model, including more chrome on the front grille, shiny mesh on the front bumper, and new multi-spoke alloy wheels. But the most exciting change is one we can't see: the S65 AMG's 6.0-liter twin-turbo V12 engine, which is expected to produce more than the current model's 621 horsepower and will certainly make for a quicker ride (as we previously noted, we could be looking at a run as quick as 3.6 seconds).

Watch the video below to see the new S65 AMG for yourself – and don't miss the cameo of the 2014 S63 AMG at the end.

      Terrific road presence. I'm glad it still has a proper Mercedes-Benz grille.

      Looks good; the only issues I can spot are the excessive brightwork on the lower front fascia (a matter of taste), and that ridiculous plastic distronic shield in the grille, which does not blend well and is immediately noticeable on any car so equipped. This being Mercedes, I'd expect they could engineer a better solution than that - hide it in the lower front fascia like Audi does, or maybe incorporate it into the glass somehow. I don't want an ugly plastic plate on the front of my $200,000 Mercedes.

        @Winnie Jenkems
        M-B has been doing that odd plastic grill cover for DISTRONIC since what 2001? They should put it in the lower bumper like other automakers.

      IMO the new s class interior is one of the best I've ever seen in any car, I wonder what they can and will do for the s65 version.

      The chrome on the bottom on the front might be where they went a wee bit too far. It's a little much.

        maybe we should wait till the 2015 bmw 7 series comes out first even though my spidey sense is telling me that bmw wont do a great job with it

          Jai I doubt it will be a V12. Hardly any automaker has V12 anymore. Today it's V8s due to fuel economy.

      At first I didn't like the look of the back of the car, but seeing it in real life (especially in S65 guise) makes it look much better
