Last month, we heard that BMW might be bringing a concept previewing its next M4 sports coupe to this year's Monterey festivities. Well, thanks to the folks at USA Today, we have absolute confirmation of this by way of some leaked images. And goodness, she's certainly a looker.

While a few of us still find some of the 4 Series' design to be a bit awkward, it's hard to not immediately warm up to the aggressive bits of this hotter M4 concept. It certainly looks the business of a proper sports car, and a worthy successor to the M3 coupe. Of course, a lot of this will likely be toned down for the production version, which we'll likely be seeing at the 2014 Detroit Auto Show in January, along with its four-door M3 kin.

The official M4 Concept details will be revealed later tonight, but for now, have a look at a few shots of the golden show car in our gallery of leaked shots, above.

Stop with the leaked this and leaked that already! Pics and videos are purposely released to build interest no one is leaking them.

BMW M concepts are usually practically production. Ex. the E92 m3 concept was the same, with the exception they unveiled it on the E46 ZCP competition (csl) wheels rather than the style wheel it came on. Personally I am really excited for this car. It will be my first DCT/Turbo car. I will be sad to part with my 6mt E92M though :(

Wow, those photos look even better. I love how bright the yellow paint is (the AB pics are too dark) and the last photo of the rear really reminds me of the E46 M3. Fantastic design.

Dude, great photos, thanks for sharing. Towards the end of the album, there are more "natural" pictures of the car. The 3/4 front looks fantastic! A nice sort of oval wedge... looks fast not even moving. I'm not too happy with the M5/5 Series taillights.

Not bad. I'll reserve my judgement until I hear the specs. Especially the weight.

This generation of 3/4 Series is not far enough a departure from the last one. Each M3 througout history has been a completely different looking vehicle to me. This one is... BLAH.
