Man Crashes Rental Car Into Gas Station, Flees Scene
After flipping his car, the driver hailed a taxi and took off
A man in Ohio was driving a rental car when he crashed into a gas station. And when we say "crashed," we mean "flipped his car violently like a drunk gymnast."
The driver hit a pylon constructed to protect the gas pumps. A video shown by ABC 15 in Ohio shows the force of the crash causing the car to flip onto a bus stop bench, which was miraculously not in use by commuters. According to a local resident, the bench was generally a very popular spot.
Somehow, the man appeared to be unhurt after the wreck. He escaped out of the passenger side, hailed a taxi and fled the scene. He's still at large, as police have not made any arrests.
