Jay Leno might be the celebrity that's known for an impressive car collection, but there's no shortage of big names stars that enjoy picking up new rides. Tim Allen, star of Home Improvement, Toy Story, and Galaxy Quest is one of those celebs. Being a Detroiter, Allen's collection of muscle cars shouldn't be a huge surprise. However, it's the generally eclectic feel of his collection that makes it interesting.

GQ took a video camera inside Allen's Los Angeles garage, where he keeps a spate of muscle cars, along with some truly rare finds and a few one-off deals. The video includes an interesting anecdote about his Ford RS200, along with closer looks at a Shelby Cobra 289, a 1950 Cadillac, and the same 1933 Ford that was rebuilt on-air during Home Improvement's run.

We've got the full video below, so be sure to swing down and check it out.

Nice collection. He has a Cobra and a Carrera GT, that alone is worth the trip out there.

Man, I really miss "Home Improvement". Definitely one of my Top 5 shows of all time, and one of the greatest sitcoms of our time, IMHO. Tim Taylor was THE MAN! That was one of my favorite things about TIm Taylor and that show, all "The MAN's..." stuff (bathroom, kitchen, etc). This clip brings back so many memories.

Cool cars, although considering his relative lack of talent and doing 3-7 in federal prison for being a drug trafficker, it's hard to understand how this guy ever ended up rich and famous. Some people just lead charmed lives I guess.

Wow I think that was the worst edited video I have ever seen. Love the subject but if gave me a headache.

3:27, you can see a CTS-V Wagon in the back. I wish that got a little camera time.

If that's a '33 Ford, I'm Tim Allen..... BTW, looks like there is much cooler cars in the background shots.

I thought this was a car blog. Love for the Cobra and the Carrera GT? More camera time for the CTS-V? Sure, the cobra and the GT are great, but that RS200 is unbelievably rare and awesome. There are three times more Carrera GT's in the US than there are RS200's in existence.
