The new Mercedes-Benz C-Class has already been spied on this site, but we've yet to have a look at the new compact sedan in motion. Thanks to an intrepid YouTuber, though, we have five videos of the new C on the road.

The car(s) in question have a bit more cladding than in our previous spy shots, but several of the new MB familial traits are evident, particularly the S-Class inspired taillights.

Notably, the third video is the first time we've heard the C-Class at speed. It's difficult to tell from the brief snippet of exhaust, but we certainly hear some V6 notes in there, meaning this could be the new C300/C350. We've posted all five videos below, so be sure to check them out and let us know what you think.

I have always thought the c class was the looker of the bunch as far as mercedes goes. Even though it never measures up to Bmw in performance useless stats that nobody uses in real driving. Things that matter class, quietness and bankvault like feeling to me trumps douchbag reputation, odd looks and suppossedly sporty performance. However let me say I have never owned a Mercedes yet 2 bmws wtf??? I dont like the looks of the cla, looks like a flounder, if I need to buy a new luxury car again I will definitely not look at Bmw but consider a used last Gen E class, or a new C class. Classy looks and the right size.

This is the dumbest comment I have ever seen. Ever taken into consideration that some people live in regions that demand AWD?

Actually, they do have a DCT. It is currently used in the A/CLA. It isn't a very good one, but they do have one. Your are correct that AMG does not, though.

Dual clutch transmission and all-wheel drive – the drive package on board of the new CLA 45 AMG is a demonstration of high-end engineering prowess. The AMG SPEEDSHIFT DCT 7-speed sports transmission is directly flange-mounted on the transversely installed engine. Key software modules have been adopted from the SLS AMG super sports car with its inspirational power transmission concept. The dual clutch transmission of the CLA 45 AMG features seven gears, three driving programs, a double-declutching function, and RACE START for optimum acceleration. Yes the new c63 will get 4matic and maybe a dct, but it wont have the e63 power train, that's like saying the e class should have a v12 biturbo, it won't happen. I heard that amg is working on a 4.0 biturbo

Am I the only one that thinks the C class is the best looking sedan in Mercedes Stable ( not the 2 door honda version) this new one may continue the trend and if you stick with base model does not break the bank either.

It looks exactly like the current generation. They might change the tail lights but rest of it looks same old.
