It looks like Optimus Prime could have some ten-wheeled competition when Transformers 4 hits theaters next year. Michael Bay's website has released an image showing the latest character to join the movie's robot alien cast, and while the previous character reveals were all Autobots, this dark and ominous Freightliner is almost certainly a Decepticon.

Based on a 2014 Freightliner Argosy cab-over semi truck, it's not exactly clear which character this is, but if the movie was to rehash old characters, this could very well be the big-screen debut of Motormaster – the leader of the Stunticons. In addition to this Freightliner, Bay's website has also posted images (but no details) for a Chevrolet Sonic Rally Car and a Pagani Huayra. There is no confirmation that either car will actually join the Autobot or Decepticon ranks, but their inclusion among all of the other confirmed Transformers would suggest they'll play some role in the movie.

So he'll introduce a character shaped the way Optimus Prime should be, but it won't be Optimus Prime. Good Job.

My 9 year old son saw the picture and immediately said Nemesis Prime too! So who knows, we'll just have to wait and see.

See my first thought was Ultra Magnus. Or Possibly Motormaster meaning some of the other "mistory" cars could be Stunicons, which might make this one not suck. Also if it *is* Ultra Magnus, then props for getting the Gen1 design close to the orginal (cab over).

Why does Optimus Prime need 6 smoke stacks at the top and two more at the bottom? These Euro cab-over trucks just look amazing these days.

They are horrible movies with a horrible director, yes... but they make money nonetheless due to little kids going to see them, over and over again. Michael Bay knows this, doesn't care, and is laughing his way to the bank. It sucks I know.

What Mr. Bay has done to an iconic cartoon from my youth is inexcusable.

Ummmm are we sure this isn't Megatron. Optimus is supposed to be red and blue. Cool looking semi truck though... This is easily his worst atrocity yet. Burn. It. With. Fire. Not that I intended to see this, but I will now actively boycott it and recommend boycotting it to others.

This is Optimus, although he eff'd him up too, this is another semi. Most likely Motormaster.

All those vehicles still look to flashy. Rather see more stock configurations as disguise but that's just my opinion. It would be like Optimus Primal from Beast Wars who took the shape of a gorilla wearing flame biker jacket. lol
