There's still plenty of time until Transformers 4 hits the big screen, and Michael Bay & Co. are making sure there is plenty of suspense in the meantime. Which is good, because we're not really expecting any actual suspense from the flick. Not wanting to drown you with short posts as Bay's website slowly and steadily starts to run down the list of cars that will appear in the movie, we've held off until now to give you a quick update roundup.

Following the introduction of the new Optimus Prime, a Bugatti Veyron and a C7 Corvette last month, recent announcements include a "new" Bumblebee, a tactical vehicle named Hound and a Lamborghini Aventador. While the Aventador is sure to be an interesting addition to the cast of cars, Bumblebee looks to be trading in his fifth-gen Camaro digs for a highly modified first-gen Camaro shell. What does any of this mean for the next installment of Transformers? Very little, except for the fact that it looks like T4 won't be as much of a GM commercial as its predecessors and Michael Bay seems to be replacing the high budget of big-name actors with an equally high budget of exotic cars (plus Marky Mark).

Good thing the vette has some sweet, sweet side graphics. A stock car would have just screamed, "hey look at me, I'm a robot in disguise!"

I saw one and three, I have no plans on seeing the rest. Not unless they show up on Netflix streaming on one particularly boring evening.

Ha. Yeah that's what we call a dead horse and we need to stop beating it. But you're absolutely right!

I love to beat dead horses. It's my favorite activity other than putting sarcastic remarks on car blogs

If only Bay could learn from Fast and Furious. No one seems to care about the plot.

Nobody wants to see this. It's just a cash cow for Bay and GM. They could care less if they break even with merch.

Yup, all three movies are in the top 60 all time grossers with the last being the 6th highest grossing movie of all time. Stop making stuff people obviously don't want to spend money to see Michael Bay!!

I want a robots only TF movie, no humans. Especially none like Shia screaming "OPTIMUSSSSSSS" every half minute.

Appears they are looking for older viewers on an overrated movie.

Hardly... the two look nothing alike, other than some superficial odds and ends.

Saw the first abortion and that was it... I have no ambition to see the Hoolywood TF franchise do anything but shrivel and die.
